Adenocarcinoma

Hi there my husband was diognosed with stage 4 secondary cancer affecting the liver and lungs, he has a biopsy done and shows that this is a cancer of the glands , we found out on 2nd of november.

Does anyone know much about this type and can shed any light please??as we have been handed a death sentence which is tough news but we are learning to accept that it is what it is.
