If there’s anyone else out there with NSCLC that’s had lung resection surgery I’d love to chat about post op recovery.
I’ve had 20% of my lungs removed and still struggling to breath, feels like there’s a blockage in my windpipe. Apparently during surgery the windpipe is cut and perhaps scar tissue is causing irritation and narrowing of the windpipe. It’s annoying and a reminder with every breathe of my cancer.
It took a good 6 months to feel physically better. Still taking some pain meds. I’ve got my 6 month CT scan coming up in 2weeks which is playing on my mind.
I am hyper aware of any strange pain or change in my body as the concern of another cancer brewing
